DJM EH3204 2004-2005 F150 Lifting Hanger. DJM’s newest lowering kit for 2004 F150 is now available in 2 sizes. The front is dropped with lower control arms (2-1/2” or 3-1/2” drop). Front control arms include new ball joints and urethane bushings, and bolt on to factory locations with factory hardware. The rear drop starts with a flip kit, which drops about 6”. Next, add one of two lifting parts for the desired rear height. A 1” rear shackle can be used for a 5” drop or a 2” lifting hanger can be used for a 4” drop (both sold separately). New shocks are needed for the rear. DJM nitro gas shocks are the preferred choice. A rear lowering shackle is also available for anyone who wants to drop just the rear. DJM lowering shackle drop 1-1/2” to 2”.
This kit is designed for vehicles with one piece drive shaft. Some F150's have two piece drive shafts with a carrier bearing. Raising the carrier bearing is required or drive line vibration will occur.
3-1/2" arms may have clearance problems using the stock tires.
* 3-1/2" arms require trimming tie rod ends to adjust toe.
Some vehicles may have lifting blocks in the rear and will require using both Lifting Hangers and Lifting Shackles.
This kit is designed to be used on standard F150 and have not been tested on Lightning or Harley Davidson.
