Polymerase Chain Reaction system amplifies DNA

Barely Used System. 



Automatic, programmable system for automating the PCR technique ( patented by Hoffman-LaRoche ) to mimic the natural growth of DNA Molecules.  Wide range of selectable conditions using the front keypad software to setup a variety of repeatable cycles including heating / cooling of the sample block.   The block is heated and cooled by a large, heavy heating pad that is locked in direct, rapid, uniform contact with the sample set.  Excellent for Genetics DNA studies, R&D, BioChem and teaching. The complete Manual is also included.  



*****   A Free packet ( normal price $132 )  of 10 sample holders (96 well-plates )  is included along with some thin walled sample tubes, and 8-cap strips, and some 200uL transfer pipettes.  We also have packets of 384 well-plates and cases of various syringes available. 


Sample block is for 96 well, 0.2 mL thin walled sample tubes in an 8 x 10 matrix holder.  Includes the three normal cycles of Denaturing, Annealling, and Extending the DNA molecule with many different options.  The conditions and status of the machine is displayed on the large, blue fluorescent 40 character display panel. 


   Includes long, standard grounded power plug for 110 V, 60 cycle.  Typically runs on 110 / 220 V at 10A / 5A and 850 Watts and 50 / 60 cps.  Includes an RS232 port for a printer or computer.  Overall size is 20" x   24" x 12" and    90# .
