From DOD:
DOD has packed all of a guitarists needs into a single, compact foot pedal. The TEC4 puts 30 patches are at your feet, arranged into 10 banks. The right-most pedal steps through each of these banks, and the other three pedals select between the three patches in the bank. Want to bypass the effects? Simple hit the pedal for the selected patch. Need to tune up? Simply press and hold the active foot pedal. The tuner is fully chromatic so you are free to experiment with alternate tunings. Each patch has it's own master volume setting, and with the optional DOD expression pedal, you can have constant control over your volume, auto-wah sensitivity, or add the wah-wah effect.
Editing patches is a snap. With the TEC4 on and a patch selected, the LEDs on the panel indicate which effects are currently active. To edit an effect, just press the corresponding button. The display will then show you the current value. Use the data buttons to select a new value or press the effects button again to deactivate the effect. If you want to enable an effect, simply press the button for that effects and select the desired value. To save your changes press the store button once, select the location to save to (if you don't want to overwrite the current patch), and press it one more time. That's all there is to it! You have instant access to every effects without needing to wade through menu after menu.
What effects do you have to choose from? Plenty. All patches include compression, distortion, delay, reverb, noise gate, a modulation effect, and three bands of equalization. The modulation effect can be either a chorus, flanger, ring modulator, phaser, tremolo, pitch shifter, detuner, wah (with the optional expression pedal), auto wah, or DOD's own pixellator effect created along with Charlie Clouser of Nine Inch Nails. The pixellator intentionally degrades the signal, popular for creating industrial and techno sounds.
The TEC4 can be run on either a standard 9V battery or with a power supply. The power supply is included so you won't have to run out and buy anything before you can the TEC4. And with a suggested list price is only $169.95, the TEC4 will cost less than two or three separate pedals while packing many more features. Simplicity.. Flexibility.. at an affordable price.
