Up for Auction is a Dokorder 7140 Open Reel Tape Deck. The faceplate is nice and clean, no scratches, marks or dings of any kind. The cabinet is near mint condition as well – just 2 small scratches one on each side of the wood case so small you have to get right up to it to see it. knobs and vu meter glass are clean and (mint). The Unit has been cleaned and checked, all pots and switches cleaned and lubed, brakes were readjusted, a new counter belt installed, drive belt and new pinch roller, I have 20 hours of play time and 4 hours of record time on the roller. motors were cleaned, oiled. The heads were cleaned, demagnetized and aligned, and It was tested in the Playback and Record mode.  All other functions were also tested and the unit is in 100% working condition.  This unit looks new, and sounds like a new one—Nice Clean Warm bright sound. The 4 channel reel you see in the auction on the left side of the deck does not come with this unit, but I am including a clear plastic takeup reel and a new sealed ampex prt 1800 high frequency tape - see pic’s.

SHIPPING

Your item will be wrapped either in heavy plastic and Styrofoam packaging or wrapped in ½” Bubble wrap and surrounded by anti-static peanuts – then your item will be placed in a New double wall box to make sure it arrives safely.

Please allow 5 Business days for handling, although we usually ship within 1 to 2 Business Days.

We cannot be responsible for loss or damage in transit so we require shipping insurance which is included in shipping price along with a tracking #.
