A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
Magnetic Bookmarks are for good old fashioned paper books.
Each bookmark is long and thin, folded in the middle, with a couple of paired magnets on the inside, hence 'Magnetic Bookmark'. The idea is that, you open it up and slot it over your page, the magnets attract each other and stick together, tightly gripping the page. Even if you drop or shake the book, the bookmark won't fall out. Once you use a magnetic bookmark, you won't want to go back to any other sort.
Feeling lazy? Clip it sideways over the page. It will mark the line you are on as well as the page. Useful for marking that line in a manual you know you are going to have to keep refering back too .... works on knitting/cross stitch patterns too.
If you haven't come across magnetic bookmarks before, this little video will show you how they work -
This bookmark is 10cm (4") long and 4cm (1.5") wide. As for quality - think glossy greetings card. The image is a combination of encaustic (wax) paintings by Chris Carrick ie it was painted with wax using an iron and it's her you are buying from. If you would like to know about how the original painting was done, do an internet search for Chris How to paint with an iron or Chris encaustic, either will bring up the site. It tells you all about encaustic painting. What it is, how it works and how to get started yourself ......plus it shows off more of her work.
We have more magnetic bookmarks available in our eBay Shop. To find them quickly do a shop search using the tiny search box, top left hand side of this page, near the Almost Abstract logo) for 'bookmark' or use the shop category links at the side of the page, they have a department all of their own. If you decide to buy more than one, whatever designs, one lot of postage will cover you for up to 12 bookmarks.
We aim to send ALL parcels out within a day of receiving payment, but if you are bidding on other items, let us know and we will hold things for you and combine any postage that needs paying for, if we can - cos we're good like that.
We use 1st or 2nd class postage (your choice) where possible but we will send things by Royal Mail Special Delivery, if you pay their extra charges. However, in our experience, first class will get things to most UK mainland addresses next day, anyway.
We don't have a bricks and mortar shop, but you are welcome to call and collect items, if you live/work close enough, only please get in touch first, don't just turn up.
We accept payment by cheque, postal order, bank transfer or Paypal, but in UK pounds only. We also take most UK credit/debit cards via a third party online merchant service, not over the phone.
For those of you wanting delivery outside the EU, our postage and packaging charges are just that - Postage and Packing.
If there are any taxes or import duty due your end, they're your responsibility.
If we can help by sending two parcels instead of one, let us know.
Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask. We'll help if we can.
After saying all that, you must like the idea, or you wouldn't still be here.
If you fancy this, for yourself or as a pressy for someone special, click the button, promise to pay and let eBay take it from there.
