DESCRIPTION:

Lovely evening dress by the American designer Donald Brooks
Creme rayon crepe fabric fully lined in creme silk fabric
Pin tuck type seam design across top of shoulders and bodice
Dolmen sleeves
Fitted cuffs with invisible zipper at cuff of sleeves
Belt loop threads, but no original belt

MEASUREMENTS: (All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat using a flexible sewing tape measure - not a metal tape measure. Bust, waist and hip measurements are doubled. These are the exact measurements of the garment. Please allow room for ease of movement. We suggest measuring a similar garment of yours and comparing it to the items measurements. PLEASE NOTE - no refunds or exchanges due to item not fitting.)Waist: 31"

Dress:

Bust: approximately 36" but could accommodate a larger size. Difficult to get a true measurement as it has dolmen sleeves
Waist: 27"
Hips: 42"
Bodice length: 16 1/2" measured from top of shoulder to waistline
Skirt length: 39" measured from waistline to hemline (3" hem if you need additional length)
Zipper: 6" back nylon INVISIBLE zipper
Buttons: 11 loop and matching fabric covered buttons on back of bodice

MATERIAL: Believed to be rayon crepe fabric with silk lining (no fabric label)

LABEL: Donald Brooks

CIRCA: Believed to be late 1960s to early 1970s

CONDITION: Overall very good vintage condition. Upon close inspection, we did notice an area of super faint discoloration on the skirt of the dress. This is really so faint, you most likely would not notice it unless you go up on top of the fabric and inspected as we did. Tried to photograph it in the first photo detail with a pen pointing to it but it really would not show up. Also noticed a tiny faint spot on the skirt - this is shown in the 2nd photo with the pen pointing to it. Please note that we have not dry cleaned this garment and will leave this to the new owner.
