HUGE LOT OF DORA THE EXPLORER TOYS...DORA'S TALKING HOUSE, BIG SISTER NURSERY & SHOP N' GO MARKET...

These items are NOT a part of the recall.   As per the website, "The recalled involves various figures and toys that were manufactured between April 19, 2007 and July 6, 2007".

DORA'S TALKING HOUSE...ITEM B9620...2003 MATTEL.  The talking mechanism is NOT WORKING.  One of the batteries had corroded and I have not been able to get it to work since...someone who knows more about these things might be able to work with it and get it going...as for now, it is non-talking.  
Still, it has been played with in the non-talking mode for quite some time.  It has an on/off button in the archway entry between the living room & kitchen.  The dollhouse closes up for storage and is approx. 17" X 12" X 12/2" in the folded up state.  When opened, the house is approx. three feet wide by one and a half feet tall.  Additional furniture does not fit inside it very well. 
Opened up, there are two levels...On the lower level..one side is the living room with a TV on a stand with a boom box below it.  The front door is missing.  There are stationary lavender drapes.  There is also a bathroom off to the side (no door).  Go thru the archway into the kitchen which is on the opposite side.  The house is partially furnished with built-in kitchen appliances and table, boom box and picture in living room, phone on one wall, mirror in bathroom, and miscellaneous illustrations of shelves in the bedrooms.  Originally had ringing doorbell, oven that lights up and talks, boombox that played music...these are all part of the things that will NOT work. 
The self-contained kitchen includes a refrigerator with door that opens, range with pot permanently attached to burner, a book shelf that folds down to double as a table and much more.  Great play fun just like it is!

BIG SISTER TALKING NURSERY...ITEM #G8362...2004 MATTEL....This item works great!  Bilingual phrases and sounds bring the entire playset to life.
This addition connects to Dora's Talking House to expand the dollhouse play.    Dora's family has grown, so, of course,  Dora's house needs a new addition to make room for the new twins!  Dora loves to visit the babies in their new nursery.   It includes two floors of play space...upstairs has lithos with shelves full of toys.  Downstairs shows a clothes chest on one side and a toybox & toys on the other side.  The oval run on the floor at the entrance makes the toy come to life...depress it to hear the phrases.  The front doors are missing.  Operates on 3 "AA" batteries which are currently in place and working.  Will leave in but cannot be responsible for their life.  A few of the original play pieces are included below in the list of furniture included.  Approx. 18 3/4" X 8 1/4" X 7".

SHOP N' GO MARKET...ITEM #K0730...2005 MATTEL...This item works great! 
Expand Dora's World with this spectacular shopping playset.  Press the cash in register to hear the phrases in English and Spanish.  Has the front door, but not the outer side door or the vegetable bins that fit on the front of the store.  Operates on 3 "AA" batteries which are in place and working.  Will leave but can't be responsible for their life.
Approx. 8" X 81/4" X 71/2".

Everything is sold as-is.  Items have been stored...I did wipe them all down, but would suggest a thorough cleaning before your child plays with them.  Please ask any questions you may have before you bid.  I have tried to list this 3 times and for some reason keep losing the info...so if there is anything left out...that is why.

Because of the size and weight, this item can be picked up locally if you live in or around Lexington, KY.  Check with me if you want to do that.

EBAY no longer allows insurance to be offered as optional.  Therefore, due to the fact that this is fragile...plastic...I am including insurance as a handling fee ($1.75).  If you prefer not to have it, let me know and I will remove it from the invoice.
