Dorado acoustic Grand Concert guitar distributed by Gretsch in the 70s....serial # 80?.....model # 5989...in nice shape with the neck pretty straight with just a little ( 1/16) relief.....not the original bridge saddle, but the neck is at a good angle which will allow you to lower the action / saddle...I have shown a picture of a small blemish in the back which I will touch up if sold...there are a couple other minute places in the side and top which will be cleaned up / touched up ( no big deal )...the top is in good condition..the bridge is not pulling up or anything...the guitar's top is normal for it's age ( about 35 years, give or take )..this might have been a very early model since the name Dorado is not on the headstock and I don't see a trace where it fell off, etc......body is just under 15' wide...has close grain spruce top, mahogany back and sides. original nickel plated parts..has the fret nut /zero fret reminiscent of most Gretsch guitars....please email me with any questions, etc...sorry, no case or bag..the guitar will be sold the way it is.
( the top / front of the guitar is fine shape and finish....what you see in the front photo are reflections from a window.)
- will ship via the USPS only - no local pickup - no offers outside the auction - please don't ask me to modify the auction while it's going, etc. - can only ship to USA and some countries because of size limitations....please email me to see if I can ship to yours before you bid.
