This is an adorable DOROTHY BAUER clear and black sparkling rhinestones suitcase pin that opens as a photo holder in a silver or rhodium plated setting.  DOROTHY BAUER hand-makes jewelry in Berkeley CA and has done so for over 20 years.  There is some aging to the metal that is mostly on the edges, the rhinestones sparkle and generally the pin looks great.  It is 1 1/8 inches by 1 1/8 inches with a slightly over 3/8 inch depth unopened, open it is 3 1/4 inches by 1 1/8 inches.  It is signed BAUER and the copyright C mark on an oval plaque, and it is a hard to find figural sparkling beauty!
