Hello and Welcome! Here is what you're bidding on: TITLE and ARTIST: "The Banjo Album" by Douglas Dillard on the Sierra Records Compact Disc label released in 1994. CONDITION: JEWEL BOX: Original jewel box in excellent condition; front and back inner sleeves, including 4-page booklet, in excellent condition as well. DISC: Disc is unmarked and plays perfectly. SPECIAL FEATURES: If you enjoy great banjo music, but have decided to stop with Earl playing Foggy Mountain Breakdown, here's something you should give a listen to; from the very first notes of the preamble to Train 4500, this album is filled with simply awesome banjo, not to mention great backup by some of Southern California's best pickers; I think Doug was just about the fastest picker ever, and on this collection he just tears it UP; each tune is kinda like a machine gun burst to the head; I have enjoyed this great album for many years; now it's time to pass it along for someone else to appreciate; I hope that's you. TRACKS: Train 4500, Turkey Knob, Hard Times, Home Sweet Home, Foggy Mtn Breakdown, Jamboree, Clinch Mtn Backstep, Bully of the Town, Bells of St Mary, Banjolina, With Care From Someone, and Runaway Country.
