Description: "Influenced by his love of medieval art, particularly the great cathedrals, William Morris (1834-1896) helped to revive an interest in stained glass with his elaborate Victorian designs. One of the foremost leaders of the Arts and Crafts movement in Victorian England, William Morris channeled his remarkable talents into a variety of creative areas, including magnificent stained glass projects. For this coloring book, A. G. Smith has skillfully adapted ten of Morris's splendid stained glass designs, as well as six of his wallpaper and textile motifs.

The sixteen drawings in this book are printed on special translucent paper so that when you hang them on a window or before another light source they will glow very much like stained glass. Identifications of the designs are provided on the inside back cover. Apply color to these sensational designs with crayons, felt-tip pens, acrylics or other medium. If you color one side only, place the sheet on your window with
the colored side facing outdoors to produce a crisper black outline.
