ORIGINAL DRAKE AC POWER CABLE INCLUDED

This auction is for a late model Drake SPR-4 receiver that is in very good cosmetic condition and works very well as tested. Five extra crystals are installed along with the dial labels as shown in the main photo. The extra frequencies are 20 meter HAM 14-0 - 14.5 MHz, 15 meter HAM 21.0 - 21.5 MHz, 11 meter CB 27.0 - 27.5 MHz, 10 meter HAM 28.0 - 28.5 and 28.5 - 29.0 MHz. The one minor detriment to the cosmetic condition is that the previous owner engraved his SS number in the rear panel. Luckily this area is not visible in normal use.

This auction also includes a document package for the DRAKE SPR-4 Communications Receiver including a photocopy of the very RARE Technical Manual. This SPR-4 documentaion package is also available separately in our eBay store.. These documents were scanned in high resolution from the original documents and not borrowed from some Internet web site and dumped onto a CD disc. They are printed on bright white 24 pound 8 1/2 x 11 laser paper along with 2 COLOR cover pages.

The complete package includes:

  • An enlarged copy of the 15 page SPR-4 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
  • A enlarged copy of the 65 page SPR-4 TECHNICAL MANUAL
  • A 3 page copy of the SPR-4 SCHEMATIC DIAGRAM foldout
  • An enlarged copy of the 2 page SPR-4 5-NB Noise Blanker Instructions and Schematic
  • These documents are all three hole punched and inserted into a one inch three ring binder
