This early edition of the DSM-II manual lists Homosexuality as a disorder and "hyperkinetic disorder of childhood" as a precursor to ADHD. True collectors know how difficult this item is to find. One of the reason's is because psychologists often discarded them when the DSM III came out and/or since they were so fragile, they fell apart in use and were then discarded and a newer DSM II was then bought. It is extremely rare to find one in such pristine condition.
 
 
ITEM DESCRIPTION: Good Octavo Softcover in Plastic Comb Binding, 1978 edition, 12th printing, 134 pages. Wraps rubbed with one corner crease in rear wraps. Comb binding has 4 broken teeth as shown. The spiral binding is still holding all pages together fine. All pages have been checked and this book is complete. Previous owner's name (Debbie Hutchinson) inside front cover. Interior is in excellent condition- solid, bright  and unmarked.
