DUAL United Audio UA Model 1225 Turntable - No Reserve

All original vintage DUAL 1225 turntable by United Audio, This is clean, all I did was some dusting. Complete original smoked cover is not cracked; just some small scratches on back. See images. Use a quality plastic polish and the cover will gleam. One hinge is missing behind tone arm. Base is in very good condition with no cracks noted. Includes drop spindle that works perfectly. There is no 45 adapter or single 33 1/3 spindle; however, easy to find if want them. Tone arm weight adjusts fine and cue lever works lifting arm up and down. Clip secures arm in place. Pitch and Anti Skate control seems OK.

It will NOT work in automatic mode. It will turn on and off; however, will not move to play the record. Using the manual mode, it sounds very good. It has a Shure HI-TRACK cartridge/needle. Be sure to ground this bubba to your amp or receiver otherwise, the feedback hum will make you wish you had. Ensure the contact areas of the ground are clean. Once properly grounded, no hum. As it weighs about 14 pounds, no skipping of needle / stylus as you walk by.

Someone with the time and a little knowledge can fix it as all parts are there; complete unit. May be adjustment, easy fix or great for parts. As it is not working completely, sold AS IS with no return unless it will not power on or give sound. No manual; however, none needed to operate as the operation is straightforward. Search the Internet and you will find some free downloads as well as manuals for sale on Internet and eBay.

I will pack individual parts as needed and put in one carton. Even though securing clip for arm is fine, I will also tape down arm, as well as other parts as needed.
