1995 J S Cardone film Black Day Blue Night starring Gill Bellows (Ally McBeal), Mia Sara (Timecop, The Maddening, Ferris Bueller's Day Off), Michelle Forbes (Kalifornia), J.T. Walsh and directed by J. S. Cardone. The Story: A disgruntled wife of a cheating husband takes off on a road trip with hubby's "other woman". The two women pick up a hitchhiker who may or may not be a robber and murderer on the run from the cops. A policeman tracking the hitchhiking murderer is hot on the trail - but his motives may not be completely in line of duty. Comments: Black Day Blue Night starts out with immediate confrontation, and throws in a good story. All the twists are meant to mislead your suspicions of one character after another, leading to a very unusual ending. That is, once you think the story is solved, you are dealt another twist in the plot, revealing just a little more than you expected before the movie is over. All in all, a good watch from J. S. Cardone (The Forsaken) plus good performances by J. T. Walsh and Gil Bellows and a very revealing performance by Mia Sara.
Factory new DVD imported from the Netherlands with UPC 8713053000072. The DVD case label is printed in Dutch and English. The film has the original English audio track and optional Dutch subtitles. Per the label the running time is 92 minutes. This DVD disc is Region 2 - Europe and Japan - it will not play on a standard US DVD player. To play this DVD in North America, you MUST have a region free DVD player or a DVD player on which you can change the region code. The video format of the DVD disc is PAL (Europe, parts of Asia) - it will not play on a standard US DVD Player. You MUST have a multi-mode DVD player capable of playing both PAL and NTSC DVDs. Be sure your DVD player can properly display a PAL format DVD on your TV.
