In this professionally narrated feature video,Raymond Myers shares perspectives and experiences he has accumulated in years sailing on great lakes freighters. In most of this video you will ride on the Steamer Buckeye through the seasons, from spring ice through november storms( Steamer Reserve ). See seens of  loading, unloading, going through the Soo Locks, under the Mackinaw bridge,in and out of docks, and daily chores.  Also see a 20th memorial service (from the crew) aboard the Steamer buckeye for the crew of the Edmund Fitzgerald. This footage was taken with a video camara from the mid 1990"s so it is not hi definition but great footage if you want to see what its really like on a freighter. This video is approx. 60 min.
