"Fishing Lake Erie in a Small Boat"
90 minutes
Do you want to see what it is like on Lake Erie before you make your first trip? Or do you want to see how I fish to catch the big Walleye?
This DVD will show three Walleye over ten pounds! You will also see South and Middle Bass Islands, Put-in Bay, ferrys, big boats, sail boats, ships, boat rides, birds, resorts, jumping fish, beaches, sunrises, sunsets, cabins, resorts, parks, lighthouses and much more!
You will see clip-on Sinkers, planer boards, trolling crankbaits, spinner rigs, drifting, jigging, fishing reefs, trolling open water, ledges, holes and much more are all on this film.
You will get valuable information on fishing big Lakes and Rivers, the same techniques can be used on any body of water.
I usually catch at least one Walleye over ten pounds and one Bass over 5 every trip. I have caught two Walleye over 11 pounds on Lake Erie.
This is home footage I have collected over the years, from 1998 to 2004. Lake Erie is always rough so the camera is shaky, may have water drops on it and with the wind it doesn't have the greatest sound. I does have some music.

This DVD will cost you about what you pay for one crankbait,
so go ahead and buy it, you will probably catch more fish
and you may find that this was a great investment for the price.

About Fisheadtackle DVDs
My DVDs are made by myself, I am the fisherman, the cameraman, the producer and everything else. These are home-footage I put a lot of time into making into decent movies.
There is some narrative explaining what I am doing while out in the boat. These dvds are Walleye how-to with animated diagrams and lots of narrative. I also add background music.
About the fisherman: My name is Dave Tackett, I am not just a run of the mill fisherman trying to sell home footage DVDs, I have been fishing for over 40 years, year round. This includes Bass day and night, lakes and rivers, Walleye year round, ice fishing, catfishing and panfishing. I have fished professional Bass circuits and many Walleye
tournaments and I usually placed in the top 5 and I have won many. I have fished the Mississippi River from pool 9 to 20 covering every pool from top to bottom. I don't ask questions, I find my own fish and figure out how to catch them on my own. I have followers most everyday I go fishing, even on Lake Erie and you can see some of this on these videos. The reason is because I catch a lot of big fish and people want to know where I catch them and how I catch them. That is why I made these videos, so people can see my how I do it.
What others say:
Dave....I am really enjoying your Video's and they sure are informative. You are the smoothest one-man fishing show I have ever seen. I have never saw a smoother netting of so many nice walleye in my life. The only thing I would like to add to your jig making Video is when my pot starts dripping I take a slotted screwdriver and stick it in the slot of the plunger and turn it back and forth one complete cycle and that cleans the spout and stops the dripping. Thank you again for the worm-jigs and the knowledge of how easy it is to make them. Good luck and great fishing. al
Dear Dave,
Loved the video but never should have watched it in the winter up
here in Minnesota. Now I can't wait to get out on the water and give
it a try. I am interested in where you are located? What state? And I
am assuming that the river is the Mississippi. I have a lot of wing
dams here just North of Lake Pepin and South of St Paul.
I've never fished them but believe me I will this spring and if you
ever need someone to hold the camera for you ........And a fishing
rod just give me a call LOL.

Hi Dave and thank you for the 2 nice gifts in the crawler rigs. I will be trying to make some duplicates soon but realize it will take a lot of practice and patience. I have some 10# spider wire for the stinger hook. Is that strong enough? I will also be trying to make some floater jig rigs if I can find the right yarn. I bought some yarn a few days ago but now looking at it and compared to what you are using what I bought is too small in diameter.
The videos and diagrams are awesome and great for my preparation. Thanks again for your patience and working with me.
My wife gets a kick out of it when I tell her that I have to go do some more homework and study Dave's films (dvds) and diagrams.
I have watched about 1/2 of your "07 DVD and it's really enjoyable. I can already see that I will need to watch it several times to pick up on the critical steps that you do so automatically and with little thought and effort.
Yah got my blood pumping. I can hardly wait for Late Feb. to put some of your lessons into action at Smithville Lake. Garry
Dave, Just watched a couple of your videos that I received in the mail a couple days ago, and I have only one thing to say....impressive. Mark H.
Dave, you should get up to the LaCrosse Wisconsin area and fish. all i do all year round is fish for walleyes on the Mississippi. from Winona to Lynxville. it would be a pleasure to take you out if you are ever interested in going. just email me. maybe we could learn a new trick from each other. my email is ___ thanks for the videos. always nice to learn new techniques. shane
