June 15, 2008was a weekend of firsts as NASCAR’s most popular driver, Dale Earnhardt Jr., ended his 76-race winless streak and brought home his first victory for his new team at Hendrick Motorsports.

It was the first time in his career that he won on Father’s Day. Junior nearly beat his own father, Dale Earnhardt, in the IROC Series 1999 race at Michigan International Speedway. Instead, Dale claimed the victory that day by a two-foot margin over Junior.

Dale Jr.’s two year winless streak ended with the
exact number of wins, 76, that father posted in his soon to be Hall of Fame career.

Will include a limited edition reproduction of a Sam Bass print commemorating this historic first win.
