Book Description: Pocket Books, New York, 2000. Hard Cover. Book Condition: Very Good to Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good to Fine. Langdon (John) (illustrator). First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. An excellent signed and inscribed First Edition, First Printing of Dan Brown's first Robert Langdon novel. Signed and inscribed to his "only neighbor at the mill" in New Hampshire directly on the title page. In this work, he introduces Robert Langdon, the Harvard symbologist, of Da Vinci Code fame, to the world for the very first time, as he grapples with an ancient secret brotherhood, the Illuminatti, as the battle between science and religion turns to war. This time Langdon is assisted by Vittoria Vetra instead of Sophie Neveu. The book and dust jacket are both in very good to fine condition. There is small trace on the front hard cover. I elected not to try removing it. The dust jacket has no tears. The spine is tight and the pages are good. The book contains no marks, remainder dots or writing of any kind except for the inscription and signature. The price is listed on the jacket. The book contains 430 pages. The book is bound in red boards with quarter red cloth on the spine and gold lettering. The book is far scarcer and more valuable than The Da Vinci Code. This book is a great read and a wonderful investment. Signed by Author. Hardcover. USA shipping is via priority mail with insurance and delivery confirmation.
