An original creation by cartooning legend...
Here is a rare color drawing by art legend Dan O'Neill from my fox art collection.

For nearly three decades I collected original art featuring the fox. At times I purchased existing pieces such as cels, paintings, cartoons and such. I also got original drawings from dozens of artists including animators, cartoonists, illustrators and more. At one time I had over 200 original pieces in my collection. Now it is time to find new homes for these amazing items.

DAN O'NEILL is one of the original "underground comic" artists. His career begins in the 1960s with the creation of ODD BODKINS - a political comic strip that still runs today. Though O'Neill has done illustrations and cartoons for any number of publications, he may be best known as the creator of AIR PIRATE FUNNIES, an adult oriented comic featuring Disney characters published in 1971. The Disney studio sued in what was one of the most watched copyright vs satire lawsuits of the century.

This fox was done at a comic convention in 1982.
It is pen and ink with marker showing a fox quoting Groucho Marx! A really great piece.
It is signed by O'Neill and dated 82.
Paper measures around 11x14 inches.
The paper seems in good shape.

This would look great framed and displayed in any home, office, or studio.
