'Nautilus' by Dan Toone 2007, steel, measures approximately 12" x 12" x 12", is signed.
'Nautilus' is influenced by a shape of the nautilus. Reflecting Mr. Toone's interest in mathematics and the Fibonacci sequence, this exquisite sculpture (edition of 3) explores the traditional concept of beauty in harmony and form. The sculpture is in pristine
condition and more burnished than the one seen in the photo with the same shape. Estimate: $400-$500.
Dan Toone is one of Utah's most prominent sculptures who welds in metal such as steel and copper. He was born in Spokane, Washington and studied commercial art at Spokane Falls Community College. Having learned welding, he has worked on private and public commissions and uses both scrap and recyclable materials within his beautiful works.
