Up for Auction is this great Danish Modern Lounge Chair by Kroehler.  Most unique, which is atypical to many of the vintage chairs from this period of design is the wood armrests and shoulder line rail.  The color I will try to best describe as a burnt orange / rust.

Matching SOFA  not included this auction.  It is currently up separately under another auction.  Please refer to my other listings for the matching chair.

I consider this a re-do / reupholster piece as the original upholstery  needs an overall professional cleaning, by a carpet cleaning service that comes to your home and will shampoo on site.  The seat cushion is useable as is, however, I recommend new foam as the current foam has gotten worn from decades of life.  The back might also need some more batting. The springs seem to be fine. The wood armrest, shoulder line railing and legs could use a slight spot touch up if you are going to go through the effort of refurbishing.

  All in all this chair is completely worth being refurbished as the uniqueness of the design allows you the opportunity to have a distinctive piece so not West Elm, but definitely modern.

Measures Approx: 39½ ” tall at back, 33” deep, 32” wide, 21” floor to armrest, and 16” floor to top of seat cushion.

Weighs approx. 45 lbs. each prior to packing.
