Darlot 6" (about 152mm) DAGUERREIAN brass barrel lens. Made in France. One side engraved: "Darlot Paris. Made in France". Non-coated glass. This lens will cover 4x5". No aperture or aperture slide. Built-in Focusing Rail with side focusing Knob. Front filter diameter is about 49mm. Rear filter diameter is about 49mm. Lens is 90mm or little shorter then 4" long. Weight is about 1lb. Retaining ring is 3" diameter. Lens is in Ex/Ex- or 7/8 of 10 cosmetic condition. No dents or dings. Very clean rear and front elements. No cleaning marks, or scratches. NO SEPARATION. Original brass retaining ring and lens hood. Quite interesting example of early brass camera lens. Sells with NO RESERVE at starting price of $275. I have more BRASS barrel lenses, Kodak Ektar lenses, Large Format cameras and Lenses, Vintage and Collectibles and Soft Focus Lenses.
