Highly collectible original artwork by Darrell K. Sweet for Ace Book 75991, Shadow Hawk, by SF legend Andre Norton (1971), a classic historical tale of ancient Egyptians fighting for freedom against the Hyksos in 1590 BC.  A stunning image from a classic science-fiction tale.

Hugo award-nominated artist Sweet has produced the cover art for literally hundreds of science fiction and fantasy books.  He may be best known for his covers for Piers Anthony's Xanth books, Stephen R. Donaldson's Thomas Covenant series, or Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.

Painting is professionally matted, with a visible area of 13x22".  We apologize for the difficulty of photographing the artwork through the protective plastic wrap.

The paperback book is included with the painting!
