| This is a piece of the Dashoguz meteorite. It fell on September 5, 1998 in Turkmenistan.
Dashoguz is classified as a chondrite, (H5). Most of this meteorite was snapped up quickly by private collectors and little was ever sold on the open market. Only ~7 kilograms fell. This piece weighs 0.180 gram and is a fragment. The cube in the photo measures 1 cm. It is for measurement purposes only and not included in the auction.
