Shanghai Grand Vase" designed by Andre Dubreuil for Daum. Dubreuil is a very famous french designer who has a studio in Perigord France. He originally worked as a antique dealer in London and later started designing his own furniture and decorative pieces. He loves metals and works in this medium. The metal work is done by him and we hand blow the crystal into the metal (vase). This is only done by their master glass blowers. The top support of the pedestal and medaillons are in pate de crystal (cast crystal). The piece is one of three in the "Grand Vase" collection which was introduced in 1990. Each piece is numbered and the leaf design is Dubrueil's signature logo. There are only 75 pieces in the edition. The original retail is $34,500. Measurements: 68 1/4" H X widest width is 13"
