Never ones to rest on their laurels or give in to marketing trends, the work they produce here is classic CSN-rich and honest, with nothing up their collective sleeve. Though teamwork is more than apparent on AFTER THE STORM (the slow, acoustic groove and trademark harmonies of "Find A Dream"), the members' individual sounds shine distinctly throughout-- Graham Nash delivers a slow, haunting title track, while Stills indulges his Latin muse on the tight, complex "Panama," and Crosby mixes in his own brand of blues on "Streets to Lean On."
