David Schluss (b. 1943) is an Israeli born artist who as lived in both the United States and Canada. While in Montreal Schluss and other fellow art school graduates formed the "Le Groupe Auto Didacte", to establish a shared philosophy and work environment from which inspiration could be drawn. His work is influenced by Marc Chagall. He uses no brush or spatula when he paints, instead he paints with his fingers, in effect "sculpting" the piece. He says "I start with abstract. And figures emerge. With the palm of my hand, I can get a play of light that I could never achieve with a brush." Currently Schluss has studios in Israel and the United States.

This book entitled "A Journey to the World of David Schluss" is a 220 page retrospective of Schluss's work. It has been hand signed by David. It has about 100 color plates. This is a must for all Schluss collectors. This book was published in 2000. It measures 11" x 10".

Buyer pays $15.00 for shipping and insurance in the Continental US.
