Description

Shipping and payments

David Schluss (b. 1943) is an Israeli born artist who as lived in both the United States and Canada. While in Montreal Schluss and other fellow art school graduates formed the "Le Groupe Auto Didacte", to establish a shared philosophy and work environment from which inspiration could be drawn. His work is influenced by Marc Chagall. He uses no brush or spatula when he paints, instead he paints with his fingers, in effect "sculpting" the piece. He says "I start with abstract. And figures emerge. With the palm of my hand, I can get a play of light that I could never achieve with a brush." Currently Schluss has studios in Israel and the United States.

This work on paper entitled "Symphony" is hand signed and numbered in an edition of 350. It measures 17" x 17".

Buyer pays $15.00 for shipping and insurance in the Continental US. Shipping will take 3 to 5 days.

International shipping will be sent via USPS Express mail and will require additional funds. Please contact us for charges prior to bidding. Any customs charges or duties are the responsibilty of the bidder.
