Console may be powered using the included AC-power adapter or with three C batteries (not included).

The Model 6152 Wireless Vantage Pro2 also have integrated sensor suite that includes a rain collector with self-emptying bucket, temperature and humidity sensors and an anemometer. The sensor suite is housed inside a radiation shield, protecting the sensors against solar radiation and additional sources of reflected and/or radiated heat. Sensor suite can be installed up to 1000 feet away and still accurate weather data can be received inside the comfort of home or office on the console.

Please note that, Vantage Pro2 console can receive weather data from more than one set of sensors. So beside this integrated sensor suite, other special type of sensors (sold separately) can be added to receive the data on this console. On the other hand, one of set of sensor can transmitt data to more than one console (or receiver).
