This wireless weather station from Davis Instrument provides accurate, reliable weather monitoring in a self-contained, easy-to-install system. First and only weather station in its class to use frequency hopping spread spectrum radio technology to transmit weather data wirelessly up to 1000' (300 m).
This wireless weather station has lots of features which puts it ahead of any competition it its class! Vantage Pro2 Plus weather stations are simply perfect for amateur weather hobbyists and weather professionals alike.
This model Includes Vantage Pro2 console/receiver, integrated sensor suite (ISS), and mounting hardware. ISS includes rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, anemometer, 40' (12 m) anemometer cable, solar radiation sensor, UV sensor, sensor mounting shelf, and solar panel.
Temperature and humidity sensors are enclosed in patented, solar-powered, 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shield. Shield combines fan aspiration and passive shielding to minimize the effects of solar radiation.
ISS is solar powered. Electronic components are housed in a weather-resistant shelter. Console may be powered using the included AC-power adapter or with three C batteries (not included).

Vantage Pro2/Vantage Pro2 Plus come in 6 different models. Model 6163 is a top-end model in Vantage Pro2 series. If you are interested in other models, please email us for details. The different models are either already in stock or we can get them for you.
A lot of options can be added to Vantage Pro2 Plus to enhance its features. Here is the partial list of options:
- Special purpose sensors like leaf & soil moisture sensor, solar radiation sensor, UV Sensor, etc.
- Sensor mounting accessories (Pole, Shelf, Mounting Tripod, etc)
- Additional console to get the weather report indoor or out.
- Repeaters to extend the range of wireless station. With these repeaters, range can be extended to few miles.
- WeatherLink software to analyze weather data, creating reports, graphs or charts, publishing weather reports on the web.

Console is loaded with features, including a backlit LCD screen and glow-in-the-dark keypad that makes viewing weather data easy, day or night. Unique Weather Center feature allows you to view multiple screens of weather data simply and quickly.
this Stylish backlit console provides continual updated weather information on 3.5-inch by 6-inch LCD screen. Console displays on-screen graphing, forecasting using easy-to-read icons (sunny, cloudy, rain, snow), barometric pressure trend, inside temperature, dew point, humidity information, time and date, and much more! Console may be powered using the included AC-power adapter or with three C batteries (not included).

Please note that, Vantage Pro2 console can receive weather data from more than one set of sensors. So beside this integrated sensor suite, other special type of sensors (sold separately) can be added to receive the data on this console. On the other hand, one of set of sensor can transmitt data to more than one console (or receiver).

The integrated sensor suite combines all the outdoor sensors into one package—making setup easier than ever and improving performance and reliability. Rain collector, anemometer, and temperature, humidity, solar radiation, and UV sensors are all included. Like other Vantage Pro2 models, for improved accuracy, temperature and humidity sensors are housed inside a radiation shield. This 6163 model, for the utmost accuracy, also comes with 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shield.
The UV and solar sensors are pre-installed on the sensor mounting shelf. ISS is solar powered and for 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation additional solar panel is included with ISS.
Sensor suite can be installed up to 1000 feet away and still accurate weather data can be received inside the comfort of home or office on the console.
