Limited edition aviation art print Dawn Eagles Rising signed by thirty-three (33) Luftwaffe fighter pilots and artist ROBERT TAYLOR.  This is the Artist's Proof Edition.  This iconic release shows the Messerschmitt Bf109 fighters of I./JG52 as they form up after take off from their base near Calais in occupied France.  Yellow noses glinting in the sun, the pilots prepare to cross the Channel during the height of the Battle of Britain in early September 1940.  This print is a follow up to Height and Sun (Height and Sun not included in this listing but see our other listings).

The Artist's Proof Edition of Dawn Eagles Rising SOLD OUT immediately at release.  It is now available only on the secondary market and valuations are rising rapidly.  The photos do not do this print justice.  Please note that the digital photo has been altered; aircraft markings on the actual print are historically accurate.  Also, the matted print is sheathed in protective plastic as issued by the publisher.  Overall print paper size is approximately 27.5 by 17 inches - matted print size is larger at approximately 31 by 19.5 inches.  The Artist's Proof Edition was limited to just 75 signed and numbered copies.  The COA is included.  Print condition is excellent, never framed and stored flat in acid-free materials.

This print must be shipped flat so expect international shipping to be pricey and do inquire as to the shipping rate prior to bidding.  Shipping insurance is required for this print due to its rarity.
