Day Of The Dead ~ Mexican Folk Art Skeleton Doll ~ AGOC
The brown diva has all her bling on !!! Up for auction is my Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) skeleton doll. She is approx 18 inches tall from head to toe. She has been hand painted with two coats of paint. She can only stand or be hung from string tag on back. She has on her vintage beige stole coat. It latches in the front and can be removed. Her fabric flower on her head matches her dress. It has been topped off with a "diamond" stone. She is also wearing a black plastic beaded rosary. Her dress is made from brown cotton paisley fabric and trimmed out in brown fringe. Her bones have been hand painted from head to toe and aged out in burt umber. It is hard to see with camera flash. Attatched to her dress is Mexican bingo card and gold face earring. This doll is crudely sewn for that hand made folk art look. All imperfections are intentionally placed as well.
