This new Temperature Control from Dayton is a single stage electromechanical thermostat with raintight enclosure.  It is designed for use in agricultural applications that require compliance with Article 547 of the National Electrical Code.  It has a rugged Noryl plastic gasketed enclosure that meets NEMA 4x spcifications.  NEMA 4x enclosures can tolerate continuous spraying with water, high humidity, airborne contaminants and moderately corrosive conditions.    The thermostat can control automatic ventilation or heating equipment in livestock barns, poultry houses, milk houses, brooder houses, hog houses, greenhouses and other buildings.  This model has SPDT contacts. 

The switches are enclosed and protected.  A compact helical temperature element, treated to minimize corrosion, is firmly attached to the exterior of the case and when the thermostateis mounted with bulb pointed down is protected from falling objects, dirt, etc.

Range:  30 to 110 degrees F (140 degree maximum ambient temperature).
