Ancient DeArmond Tremolo Control serial number 3483. Uses a 1/4 inch jack for the input to the pedal with the output being the old style microphone jack. Adaptors are available, maybe I have one. Has the old style chicken head knobs.
When found these units are almost always dried out. The small fluid container has been opened from the fill spout with a number 60 drill in order to refill the unit with the correct fluid in the proper amount using a syringe. The fluid amount has been adjusted for best sound. This small refill hole was then carefully reslodered closed and looks like it was never worked on!
Both knobs rotate and operate smoothly. Motor runs as new and rubber drive wheel has no dryness or brittle areas. No indentations on the circumference. Works as new!
This is a very unique sounding tremolo (Swampy?) with great vintage history and looks. All mechanicals have been checked and serviced as needed. Still a nice brown wrinkle paint finish for a 60+ year old effect pedal! Only a small paint chip missing on the corner as shown in the image. You don't like it? Return it for a refund. I'll bet you will like it enough to be very happy with it!

Thanks A: Hello, the second paragraph states that when these units are found they are almost always dried out and are not working. It continues to say that I drilled open the fill tube with a tiny drill to be able to refill the unit... Continue reading
