The DeLonghi EC155 is the most affordable pump-driven semi-automatic espresso machine we offer. This little powerhouse packs 15 bars of pump pressure, so getting a good extraction is simple and fast. Delonghi’s patented Sempre Crema Filter helps ensure you’ll get a layer of rich crema on your shots, and the EC155 also comes with a filter basket designed for use with ESE (Easy Serve Espresso) pods to make brewing even simpler.

A dial on the front of the machine controls all of the functions on the DeLonghi EC155, from brewing to steaming to hot water. For making cappuccinos, lattes, and other espresso-based milk drinks, the EC155 features a steam wand with an attachment that makes steaming and frothing milk a breeze. Maintenance is also easy, thanks to a removable 35 oz water reservoir, drip tray, and straightforward cleaning cycles.

Easy Frothing

If you love cappuccinos, latte, and other café-style drinks, you’re in luck. The DeLonghi EC155 has a special frothing attachment that helps you steam and froth milk with ease, so you can create almost anything you’d find at your local coffee shop. To steam, turn the knob to the steam icon and wait for the temperature ready light to illuminate (next to the word “OK” on the control panel). Once illuminated, the EC155 is ready to steam. Just immerse the tip of the steam wand in a pitcher of cold milk, turn the steam knob located on the top of the machine, and froth away. Make sure to clean the wand after every use, once it has cooled down.

Hot Water

If you want to enjoy a cup of tea, hot chocolate, or a bowl of delicious instant soup, the EC155 can dispense hot water right from the steam wand. Just turn the control knob to the coffee/hot water dispensing icon at the same time as you turn the steam knob. When the desired amount of hot water is reached, just turn the steam knob to stop the flow of water.

Large Water Reservoir

The DeLonghi EC155’s 35oz water reservoir is located on the back left side of the machine. With such a large capacity, you can make multiple espresso shots and steam without having to refill. Plus, it’s removable, so cleaning and refilling is a snap.

Removable Drip Tray

No one wants espresso to drip on their countertop. The EC155 has a removable drip tray, so you can clean up after a day of brewing, or entertaining guests. Just remove and rinse with warm water and non-abrasive detergent to clean.
