This is a set of Deagan 1-1/2 Octave Portable Bells or Chimes (Xylophone) which came out of a Philadelphia estate and it is in good looking and in good sounding condition. Imprinted at the top of the C Chime is ''J.C. Deagan, Inc., Chicago, Made in U.S.A.'' These chimes can be removed to create dinner bells or some other combination of chimes or played as they are in the fitted compact felt lined carrying case. They have the magnificent sound for which Deagan is so widely renowned. In the case it measures 3''x18''x19-1/2'' and weighs 18 pounds.
