This is a very nice piece from the 1930s. it measures 3 ½” x 3” x ¾” when closed. When open, it is 3 ¼” tall. The entire case is sterling silver, and weighs 156 grams. The top and back are engraved with vertical lines, and also with wider black enamel lines. There is a small initial block on the top with initials ERH. Inside, there is an easel that is formed to hold a mens slender pocket watch. So, evidently this is a way to use your pocket watch as a nightstand clock when you travel. The condition is excellent. the enamel is near mint. the edges of the case are tarnished. A very unique item. Buyer pays shipping & Handling, $6 in USA.
