Our Deer Exclusion Netting provides a safe and effective method for protecting properties from damage caused by the deer population. Deer Net is a black invisible mesh barrier that:

•           Blends into background so it doesn't distract from the appearance of your property

•           Protects garden areas and/or entire property from deer encroachment

•           Attaches easily to trees or posts

•           Is UV stabilized to resist fading and deterioration from sunlight

•           Is a lightweight low cost alternative to metal fencing

The deer problem in the United States has accelerated in recent years due to the ever-increasing suburban sprawl. With their once bountiful grazing areas rapidly diminishing, deer are forced to find alternative sources of food. This causes many landscapes and gardens in areas with high deer population to be at risk of being damaged or destroyed.

The installation of our DEER NET will RESOLVE THE PROBLEM of deer getting on the property of homeowners, nurseries and farmers. Simply start at one corner of the property and attach the 8' HIGH DEER NET polypropylene mesh fence to existing trees. The material is pulled tightly from tree to tree with a span of up to 35' (maximum). To gain the strength and protection desired, enclose all the property intended to be restricted from deer.

The lightweight, high strength fencing is virtually invisible, and has cost-effectively solved the deer predicament without detracting from the appearance of the property. In areas without trees our STEEL POSTS (Sold Separately) may be used to support the Deer Net. Distances between posts should be 15' maximum. The fencing is also staked to the ground with 12" GALVANIZED GROUND STAKES (Sold Separately) to keep the deer from pushing underneath.

To ensure the immediate success of the newly installed system, it is recommended that visible streamers be attached to the fencing at a height of 4' every 12'. The streamers need only be kept up a month or two, but are very important because they warn the deer that there is now a barrier present and keep them from running into the fencing. The deer will then re-route their trails to bypass the protected area.

It is very important to completely enclose the area you are protecting. Otherwise the deer may re-route their trails and enter the property from the unprotected direction becoming trapped inside the fenced area and causing damage while trying to escape.
