What is being offered now is a Degenhart Glass Gypsy Pot Toothpick Holder in the color Jade. This is one of a few pieces of glass that I took to the Degenhart Museum to have the color verified by the folks at the Degenhart Museum. The ladies at the Museum said this was Jade. This piece measures about 2 1/4 inches higth and this piece IS marked the glass with the Degenhart D in a Heart. This beautiful piece of glass has no cracks or chips, the shiny places are reflected lighting.

I grew up a few houses down from the Degenhart Factory in Cambridge Ohio and walked past every day on my way to school. I ended up working at the factory for a number of years after it was purchased by the Boyd family. I bought many pieces of glass through the 1980's through to today, and I told my wife that the glass I purchased would be sold in the future to help pay for our two young daughters college education and my wife is making sure that I keep to my plan. I will be putting some of the items I purchased up for sale on Ebay. I have a lot of older pieces, and some newer ones. I will be putting them on as I unpack them from the boxes I stored them in, or take them off the shelves in our home, or find them at sales. They will not be in any particular order. GOOD LUCK!
