The SA180 includes 1/3 HP, 1725 RPM, 120 Volts induction motor and controls, miter gauge, 1" X 42" 100-grit belt, 8" diameter, 60-grit disc, instruction manual.
8" diameter disc operates at 1725 RPM for finishing hard and soft woods, plastics, composites and more.
Tilting cast-iron tables on belt and disc units are slotted for miter gauge use.
Factory-set belt tensioning and one-knob belt tracking for accurate operation.
Built-in, 1-1/2" O.D. dust spout for adaptation to a dust collection system or shop vacuum.
The narrow belt width is ideal for sanding odd-shaped pieces. Steel platen is removable to facilitate working with curved pieces.
Belt cover is removable for access to the idler wheel when performing contour sanding operations.
Compound angles can be achieved on both units by tilting the table and utilizing the standard-equipment miter gauge. Miter gauge turns and locks for common angles 45 degrees left and right.
