This listing is for one cavalier hat that is made from a more finished and trimmed quality felt hat blank. It has a black ribbon band around the base of the crown and comes with a sweat band on the inside of the hat. It is stiffer than the other Cavalier hat and blanks that I sell because it is a more finished hat. It is currently available in sizes S (6 7/8), M (7 1/8) and L(7 3/8)and XL(7 5/8) To determine your correct size measure the circumference around where you would wear the hat. Basically, from level with the forehead around, S is 21 1/2 inches, M is 22 1/4 inches, and L is 23 inches and XL is 23 7/8 inches. The sweat band can make this hat a slightly tighter fit than the regular Cavalier so if your measurements are closer to the next size up I would recommend going larger for the best fit. It is secured with a brass small cloak clasp. You get your choice of 1 large ostrich feather or 2 smaller feathers of any kind. I am now carrying a limited variety of dyed ostrich feathers. I have white, black, purple, orange, yellow, pink, green, royal blue, brown, dark purple, and gray with pink tints. Check to see for availability on feather colors. You may also choose between peacock, pheasant and striped turkey quill feathers as well. You may specify which you want at auctions end depending on what is currently available. The feathers in the first picture are a white and a gray mixed and the second picture has a brown/gray mixed ostrich and a black one. (Currently out of gray feathers but will get more in later) The felt is a bit stiff when you first get it but it will soften up with repeated wearings and mold itself to fit the unique shape of your head. This hat is ONLY available in black. The hat comes with pin inserted and the brim folded up on the side and the brim has been trimmed for a more finished look over my basic Cavalier. These hats are great for Renaissance Fairs and SCA events. They also make a great pirate hat. This as well as the other hats being offered in my Ebay store
