Demitasse cup (2.25 inches tall) and matching plate (4.2 inches circumference). White with gold gilt trim.  Both cup AND saucer have painting of Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts, along with pink roses. Bottoms marked: JONROTH, ENGLAND, SALISBURY, FINE BONE CHINA, MADE IN ENGLAND. Former owner has written in black marker on saucer bottom: ALICE, AUGUST 1959, 21 Botton of cup has 21. I would consider this part of the set's history, not a defect, but please be aware & bid accordingly!  No chips, no cracks; items have been displayed in a nonsmoking home, not used. See my other listings; postage discount for multiple buys. Will ship to United States only; PayPal ONLY; NO RESERVE!
