BLACK ASPER 'Betung Hitam' - the black variety of Dendrocalmus asper -  a highly ornamental, very big and extremely rare bamboo, with black culms ! This bamboo grows up to 80 feet or more and has canes about 8 - 10 inches in diameter. D. asper grows well in full sun or partial shade.
