This auction is for a first edition of Dennis wheatley`s Duc de Richelieu story  " the golden spaniard "  published by hutchinson 1938.

It is signed and inscribed by the author himself and still has it`s original 1938 dust jacket. The jacket is in a clear protector which it detaches from cleanly with no damage. The binding of the book is good with no loose pages or distortion . No one has written in this anywhere except wheatley himself and pages are clean with only minor brown spotting occasionally. The dust jacket has some wear to top and bottom of spine but no large pieces missing. Colours are still bright to artwork.
