HMS Department 56

This application provides Department 56 collectors with software and database to manage their collection.

You can manually add your villages or pull them from the master database of over 3,000 items that comes with HMS. The villages included in the database are:

• AMERICAN PRIDE COLLECTION
• CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY VILLAGE
• DICKENS VILLAGE
• DISNEY PARKS VILLAGE
• HERITAGE VILLAGE
• HOLY LAND (including Little Town Of Bethlehem
• MONOPOLY BRAND CITYLIGHTS
• NEW ENGLAND VILLAGE
• SNOW VILLAGE (INCLUDING Halloween series)
• NORTH POLE (including North Pole Woods)
• SEASONS BAY
• STORYBOOK VILLAGE
• GENERAL ACCESSORIES

The database includes the Department 56 OEM number, name of piece, village, series, year issued/retired, number of pieces in set and the original MSRP.

If you wish, import an entire village and then just click on which items you have. Track items that you "Have", "Want to Sell", items that have "Sold", or items you "Want". Attach pictures of your collection and print inventory reports for insurance purposes. A variety of reports allow you to print market value reports, inventory reports, for sale lists, want lists and much more. You can also design your own custom reports. There are over 40 fields of information for each piece.

Database size is virtually unlimited, data entry is quick and easy. See the screen shots below for a brief tour of HMS Department 56.

The screen shot below is the Browse screen. From this screen you will be able to see the summary of how many items you have in your collection and their collection value. Finding an item is quick and easy even in large collections. You can sort by OEM #, Village, Description, and Location to name a few. You can import your specific villages from the main database if you wish and click on the items that are in your collection. Other features include adding pictures of your items, creating custom user fields and entering any notes or variations on the memo page.

The screen shot below shows a picture of your Department 56 item. You can enter up to 2 images per item.

The screen shot above shows a sample page from the database that comes with the program. There are over 2400 items from all the Department 56 villages in the database. You can pull these items into your collection, review the database, and print reports from it.
