AN AUTHENTIC 87 YEAR-OLD MAP - not a reproduction or reprint. It was taken from the 1921 Collier's New World Atlas and Gazetteer.
You are bidding on a b&w map of Palestine as it was in 1921.
The map is beautifully detailed and is indexed as to locations of principal cities. It measures 11" x 9" and the overall sheet is 15" x 10-1/2". There is a detailed inset map of Jerusalem and vicinity.
Please note that the scan doesn't show the entire map. Also, please ignore any weird lines or colors on the picture; that’s my scanner’s fault and they’re not really there!
The condition of the map itself is excellent (there is a little light border creasing and a few small border edge tears) and is suitable for matting and framing, if desired.
