I have not a clue what this small piece is for.  It was suggested to me that it had something to do with the antique Jewel Stove.  If anyone can help me out by identifying what it is it would be greatly appreciated.  I thought perhaps it was an old advertisement piece; like a salesman sample???  Does anyone know???  This is part of the fun of finding unusual "things" in grandparents homes and wondering what it the world they saved this for!  Does anyone know?  If so please share your knowledge ~ Made of heavy cast iron ~ Measures 3-1/2" long 2-3/4" wide with 4 short feet that raises it up about 5/16 of an inch from surface top ~ Thank you for viewing my listing.
