All five (5) volumes bound, with gorgeous color frontispieces, in black cloth with gilt lettering and designs on covers & spines. Includes maps and b&w illustrations throughout. Hinges are strong. The textblocks are tight and square, and the pages are clean and intact. Slight chipping to bottom edge of page 107 of Vol. 1; also, Vol. 1 title page has minor closed tear at bottom edge. Slight wear to corners and edges. Ex-library, though significantly fewer interior markings than usual.
