We have up for auction a Dietz kerosene Mill lantern made in New York USA. Lantern is 13 1/2" tall and a 6 1/2" diameter at the base. The globe has a patent date of 3-10-14 and is signed Dietz Fitzall New York USA with letters and numbers H5 LOC-NCB. The lantern is silver in color but at one time it was red. There is still some red paint on the bottom.
The lantern is in good condition with just a small amount of light surface rust. I did not adjust the wick - I will leave this up to the buyer. The adjusting rod is not coming off or loose, but was hard to turn so I did not try to force it. The globe does have some rough places and a few tiny flea bites around the rim on the top and bottom. There is no other damage.
Shipping is quoted via Priority mail or Parcel Post in a box with insurance optional. We are not responsible for shipping damage or loss if insurance is declined. We charge actual shipping costs plus $0.50 shipping and handling.
We will combine shipping for multiple purchases when possible. If you win more than one item, please let us send you a combined invoice.
International shipping is quoted via Priority International, which does include indemnity insurance. International bidders must pay via PayPal.
You will receive an invoice from us at the auction end. We accept PayPal or USPS money orders from US bidders. We do not accept personal checks. International bidders must pay via PayPal.
We ship using online postage and you will receive an email when we create the shipping label. Items ship within 1-2 days after we receive payment. You will receive an email when the item ships as well, and international buyers will be given the customs number for tracking purposes.
